GIR Hosts Another Successful Muscle Car Reunion and Nostalgia Drags Event

The first DragRacingOnline.com AA/FC Challenge presented by Lucas Oil event of the 2010 season was run in conjunction with the first of two Muscle Car Reunion events held at Gateway International Raceway and Kansas City International Raceway (coming Sept. 17-18) annually.

It had been over seven months since the last DRO AA/FC Challenge race at Bowling Green, KY, and the racers that participated in the series last year were more than ready to get back to racing. This year the promoter of the Muscle Car Reunion races, John Troxel, trying give fans a better field of nitro-burning floppers, increased the number of qualified cars in the field from six to eight and increased the purse from ,500 to ,500.
