Lethal1320.com Takes Midnight Madness Battle of the Boards

Along with all of the other exciting action at Midnight Madness, there was great action on the dragstrip alongside great grudge racing action provided by the Battle of the Boards. For the first time this year Lethal1320.com did not sweep the competition. Lethal1320 did collect the overall victory, but Ken O’Toole, representing STLMustangs.com, collected individual victory.

This BotB featured a return of the cruise. All cars had to make laps around the Gateway International Raceway road course for 15 minutes keeping the car running and at pace with a pace car and then got ready for first round, while unable to make any changes to their cars.

In the final round O’Toole lined up his ’90 Ford Mustang up against the ’69 Camaro of Gary Tripp, representing Lethal1320.com. The drivers were close on the starting line, but down track O’Toole began to pull away to take the win with a 9.62 second pass at 139 mph. Tripp made another respectable pass of 9.82 second at 139 mph.
